About

Flirt, Laugh,
Fall in Love

I write sweet and sassy contemporary romance with heart and humor, including my Bachelors of Buttermilk Falls series and the Purrfect Pairs series for Tule, Rowohlt Kyss, and Dreamscape. I love nothing more than to explore super cute small towns, am fueled by Dunkin’ Donuts mocha iced coffee and spend my evenings curled up with a glass of wine and a Hallmark movie.

I also love everything about honeybees and am obsessed with honey. Here’s a recipe that my friend, Chef Todd Kegresse, whipped up for met to appear in Sweet Like You.

Peanut Butter Honey Cookies

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup honey
  • 2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract

The Process

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment.
  • Mix dry ingredients (flour, sea salt, baking powder together in a bowl.)
  • In a separate bowl, beat brown sugar and softened butter until creamy.
  • Add eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Stir in the peanut butter and honey until ingredients are well blended.
  • Mix the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, forming a dough. Chill dough for 1 hour.
  • Scoop a heaping tablespoon of the dough mixture and roll it into a ball. Repeat, leaving 1-inch of space between each cookie.
  • Use a fork to flatten each ball.
  • Bake at 350°F for 10-12 minutes.
